According to a statement released by Grand View Research, the CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of organic snacks companies and industries all over the world has been estimated to increase at about 13.1% in the year 2020-2027. This is due to the fact that individuals crave for food and snacks with natural ingredients that would benefit them as well as their health and hence the increase in  demand for organic snacks. North America represented 40% of worldwide income in 2019 as a result of the increase in demand for health and wellness snacks in the US and Canada. According to the predictions made, Asia Pacific is estimated to record the highest CAGR rate(14%) due to the high consumption rate of organic foods and lifestyle changes in certain Asia Pacific countries.

       Snack bars were the most preferred snack according to product type. Around 2019, the rate of consumption increased at about 15% and this is due to the fact that most people prefer eating little but healthy meals while most people who prefer eating morning snacks also utilize this product. Busy individuals who get little free time in their schedules are not left out of the game. Furthermore, online sellers are estimated to rise up to a CAGR of about 14%. This whole pandemic situation has led to excessive use of mobile phones, online shopping, little internet cost which increases the growth of online business.

       Taco Bell has revealed its plan to develop a new restaurant built with emphasis on advanced development and technology. It intends to introduce a restaurant that Encompasses drive thru and exceptional customer and restaurant service. The Taco Bell Go Mobile launching in 2021 would be able to take customers order requests as well as enable ordering of items from the app. This app has promised to make things easier and faster for customers.

5 outstanding features to be seen in the Go Mobile restaurant

  • Small size concept : unlike the Taco Bell Restaurant with an average size of 2500 square foot, the new Go Mobile restaurant has a smaller size of 1,325 square feet. Hence, the new restaurant is much more smaller than the Taco Bell Restaurant
  • Double drive thru feature: The new restaurant would be built with dual drive thru as well as a pickup lane which prioritizes customers and provide fast customer service to those ordering through the Taco Bell app.
  • Coordinated digital experience: using the AI technology built in Taco Bell app, Go Mobile restaurants would be able to notice the arrival of a customer and provide less difficult route for easy pickup.
  • Presence of Bellhops: Tablet ordering would be taken care of by group of agents called Bellhops. This will be made available in drive thru as well as curbside pickup.

The Taco Bell president, Mike Grams defined the Go Mobile concept as a detailed Coordinated digital experience revolving around transformation of customers access points. He further stated that the Go Mobile restaurant is not just here as a modern and developed physical footprint but also as the first concept that has allowed their customers select the perfect pickup experience while still sitting comfortably in their cars.
